At Beek Build, we don’t just talk about opportunities, we create them. This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the incredible women who shape our industry, our business, and our lives.
Our industry has long been male-dominated, but times are changing and we’re here to be part of that change. That’s why we created Elevate, our 12-month training program designed to develop future leaders in construction by giving them hands-on experience across all facets of the business.
This year, we are incredibly proud to highlight Jess Mills, who commenced the Elevate program with Beek Build in November 2024, after being successful against many highly skilled women. Jess embodies everything this program is stands for: determination, talent, and a drive to grow in an industry that needs more strong women like her.
Over the next year, Jess will rotate through key roles: Estimating, Site Management, Contracts Administration, and Operations & Business Development, gaining a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver high-quality projects. She will also undertake a Diploma in Building & Construction, setting her up for long-term success in the field.
But Jess isn’t alone.
